We are looking for our new Administrative Assistant position! We are an e-commerce, artificial florist, specializing in high-end faux floral arrangements. This position is not remote and our studio is in Redlands. Candidate must be comfortable working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and multiple email platforms our brides contact us on. An excitement for exceeding customer's expectations with a very upbeat, friendly, and energetic tone is expected within all email correspondence. Attention to detail is important as well, as many of our emails are pretty much…different brides asking similar questions. You must be very excited about wedding flowers and working with brides over email coorespondance, so if you're not...let's not waste each others time.
This position will be responsible to keep in contact with our awesome brides on various platforms, create invoices for custom and rental orders, keep a very organized calendar for our team, create shipping labels, take new item photos, complete minimal photo editing, list new items, maintain a tidy workspace, unpack newly arrived floral supplies, carry packages, and other needed tasks will be expected as well.
This part-time position will be needed Monday – Thursday from 9am-12pm on a weekly basis. Maybe an hour or so extra here and there (if you want) when days are busier. Our shop is closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We do not work major holidays and take approximately 4 weeks of vacation off throughout the year. We want to be very upfront with our shorter than average work hours, as we want potential candidates to enjoy and be comfortable with this schedule.
We have and awesome location with large windows giving us natural sunlight. Enjoy your coffee at your dual screen PC computer (not Mac!) Hopefully you love Jesus, because Christian music plays continually here. The owner brings her toddler to work, so it's a happy and a bit loud with her happiness, so we mention this to describe the working environment...because that's important to know we aren't a hush-hush group of girls!
